Water on Wednesday

Yay! It's raining this morning! I don't have to fight with the hose to water the veggie garden! Clearing this afternoon should make for a "just right" day, but with lots of heat and humidity descending upon us this weekend.

Primaries are over, Hillary won't give up. Positioning herself to try and get the VP nod, or hanging in to say "I told you so" in 2012 if Obama wins and doesn't do well? Who really knows what goes on behind the scenes. Not me-- no scoops there!

Update on Mars Phoenix Lander Scheduled for June 4
06.03.08 -- PASADENA, Calif. - NASA and the University of Arizona, Tucson, will hold a televised news briefing on Wednesday, June 4, at 11 a.m. PDT (2 p.m. EDT), to present the latest news from NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander mission, which touched down on the Red Planet on May 25.

The briefing will take place at the University of Arizona, and will be carried live on NASA TV's Media Channel only, and will also be Webcast. The Media Channel is available on an MPEG-2 digital C-band signal via satellite on AMC 6, Transponder 17C in continental North America. In Alaska and Hawaii, it is available on AMC 7, Transponder 18C. To view the Webcast, go to and click on Media Channel.

Briefing participants will include Peter Smith, Phoenix principal investigator from the University of Arizona, and other team members.
