Daffodils

It's going to snow again today. About 9 inches they say. I hate snow. I am sick of winter. It is the winter of my discontent.

Yet it doesn't matter. Because Mike brought me daffodils. They remind me that spring will come and the daffodils will come up in my garden again. Yet today, while the woodstove is burning to keep us warm, a touch of spring sits on my table.
